In this full-length interview, Robert T. Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad (1997), talks about his humble beginnings growing up in Hilo, Hawaii. He explains that his father (Poor Dad) was so bright he earned an honorary Ph.D.; meanwhile, he flunked out of high school on two separate occasions because he didn't like school. He also admits that he failed English because he couldn't write. Despite the bad grades, his SAT scores were high, which helped him land enrollment at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. From there, Kiyosaki details how a discussion with his former economics teacher inspired him to join the Marine Corps in 1969, where he desperately wanted to experience flying in Vietnam. He reveals to DJ Vlad that the aircraft he flew were shot down three times before reflecting on the lives he took during a time of war.
As the conversation progresses, Kiyosaki shares his thoughts on America's school system before stating his belief that students are being taught communism. This prompts him to share his thoughts on the "critical race theory" curriculum before explaining that many of his family members were in concentration camps during World War II. He later states why he was court-martialed before being expelled from the Marines.
Moving along, Kiyosaki looks back on a pivotal conversation that he had with his best friend's father (Rich Dad) about his next career move following his discharge from the Marines. He states that his "Poor Dad" told him to go to college, but his "Rich Dad" told him to become a salesman. Later in the Q&A session, DJ Vlad brings up some of his favorite points of the "Rich Dad Poor Dad" book, prompting Kiyosaki to explain further some of his methods for achieving financial success and writing his New York Times Best Seller.
Lastly, Kiyosaki looks back on the Amway distributor who jump-started his successful career as an author. He also talks about his friendship with Donald Trump and the two books they co-authored, "Why We Want You To Be Rich" and "Midas Touch." He also discusses his $1.2 billion debt, being a property owner, his gold/silver mines, the way in which he leverages his debt to maintain his empire, and more.

INTRODUCTION
The book is the story of a person (the narrator and author) who has two fathers: the first was his biological father – the poor dad - and the other was the father of his childhood best friend, Mike – the rich dad. Both fathers taught the author how to achieve success but with very disparate approaches. It became evident to the author which father's approach made more financial sense. Throughout the book, the author compares both fathers – their principles, ideas, financial practices, and degree of dynamism and how his real father, the poor and struggling but highly educated man, paled against his rich dad in terms of asset building and business acumen.
The author compares his poor dad to those people who are perpetually scampering in the Rat Race, helplessly trapped in a vicious cycle of needing more but never able to satisfy their dreams for wealth because of one glaring lack: financial literacy. They spend so much time in school learning about the problems of the world, but have not acquired any valuable lessons about money, simply because it is never taught in school. His rich dad, by contrast, represents the independently wealthy core of society who deliberately takes advantage of the power of corporations and their personal knowledge of tax and accounting (or that of their financial advisers) which they manipulate to their advantage.
The book’s theme reduces to two fundamental concepts: a can-do attitude and fearless entrepreneurship. The author highlights these two concepts by providing multiple examples for each and focusing on the need for financial literacy, how the power of corporations contribute to making the wealthy even wealthier, minding your own business, overcoming obstacles by not fostering laziness, fear, cynicism and other negative attitudes, and recognizing the characteristics of humans and how their preconceived notions and upbringing hamper their financial freedom goals.
The author presents six major lessons which he discusses throughout the book:
◾The rich don’t work for money
◾The importance of financial literacy
◾Minding Your own business
◾Taxes and corporations
◾The rich invent money
◾The need to work to learn and not to work for money

Tony Yayo came through for yet another VladTV interview, and this time around, he started off addressing the passing of Migos rapper Takeoff, which led to a conversation about moving around safely. During the conversation, Tony spoke about cameras being everywhere, which brought up how it’s so much more difficult for people to pull off crimes today. From there, Tony spoke about the suspect arrested for the murder of Jam Master Jay being tied to the murder of rapper and close friend of 2pac, Stretch. Tony also addressed the controversy surrounding Kyrie Irving, which led to him speaking about the media training he got after being released from jail, and he added that you have to be careful about what you say. Other topics covered in the interview included Brittney Griner being sentenced in Russia, DJ Akademiks’ comments on older rappers, and BMF. To hear more, including Tony speaking about his relationship Eminem and touring with 50 Cent, hit the full interview above.
In this full-length interview with Tony Yayo, the NYC-based rapper shares his thoughts on the Tory Lanez verdict. He said that if he were in Tory’s shoes, he would’ve copped a plea deal to avoid risking losing the case at trial. He also talked about some similarities between Tory’s situation and what Shyne had to deal with after his case. Then, Tony Yayo talks about the difference between a woman taking the stand and a man taking the stand. Tony explained how all the signs pointed toward Tory being found guilty before the trial even started.
Elsewhere in the interview, the conversation shifts to the codefendants in the YSL RICO case taking plea deals, and Tony Yayo explained that when it comes to Gunna, the video of him in court didn’t look good for his career. Tony then added that it’s unclear if there's a conversation between Gunna and Young Thug about taking a plea, and he said the video made it rough on Gunna on his first day out.
Moving along, DJ Vlad spoke to Tony Yayo about his conversation with Gunna’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, and Tony explained that the court footage of Gunna was a “major blow” to his street cred. Vlad then added that Sadow told him that Gunna’s plea deal can’t hurt his codefendants, and Tony stated that he still rocks with Gunna, unlike the streets. Moving along, DJ Vlad spoke about Tory Lanez facing 23 years in prison, and Tony stated that the judge could’ve let him spend Christmas with his family. Vlad then asked Tony if he thinks Gunna can get back to the level he was at, and Tony explained that the streets and the internet don’t have any compassion. Tony added that people with nothing will judge millionaires who fumble the bag, and he added that people would love to be in the position of someone like Tory before the incident in 2020.
Lastly, Tony Yayo shares his thoughts on the culture that helped create Bronx Drill before talking about Kay Flock's current legal predicament.
