Over the last few weeks, online communities on Twitter and Reddit helped drive the share price of GameStop to over $400 a share, which was a nearly 1,600% increase at the time. Now, shares have dropped back down to around $50 a share, which is still up from its 20202 low of just under $3 a share, but also indicates that the mass trading of the company is losing steam.
